The Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS) has different membership levels and categories,. Chiropractor members are physicians who have graduated from a College fully accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) or an agency accredited by the Iowa Board of Chiropractic Examiners. ICS offers annual and quarterly installment payment options for most memberships.

Membership Types

Platinum Member - annual dues: $1,380
Membership benefits including member discounts on ICS CE programs, products and services in addition to the waiver of registration fees for ICS Annual Conventions and Fall Symposiums, ICS webinars and a $10 rebate on all ICS/ Palmer sponsored ICN programs. Contact Molly Lopez at director@iowadcs.org for details. 

Regular Member - annual dues: $705

A regular member has voting privileges and access to all regular membership benefits including member discounts on ICS CE programs, products and services. 

1st Year Member - annual dues: $200
A 1st year member has voting privileges and access to all regular membership privileges including member discounts on ICS CE programs, products and services. To qualify, the member must be within their first year after graduating from a chiropractic college. ICS Student Members who have been a continuous member for at least 6 months prior to beginning practice in Iowa will receive a waiver of their ICS membership dues for one (1) year from the date their practice begins. 

2nd Year Member - annual dues: $365
A 2nd year member has voting privileges and access to all regular membership privileges including member discounts on ICS CE programs, products and services. To qualify, the member must be within their second year after graduating from a chiropractic college.

3rd Year Member - annual dues: $535
A 3rd year member has voting privileges and access to all regular membership privileges including member discounts on ICS CE programs, products and services. To qualify, the member must be within their third year after graduating from a chiropractic college.

Part-Time Member- annual dues: $365
A part-time member works an average of 20 hours or less per week and have done so for at least six months. A part-time member must submit written documentation showing regular, posted office hours.  An application for part-time membership must be submitted to the Membership Committee annually subject to renewal.  

Associate Member - annual dues: $170
Associate Member shall be the full-time chiropractic college faculty or out-of-state chiropractic physician. An associate member does not have voting privileges but has access to all other membership privileges.  

Student Member -annual dues: $35
A student member is a person attending an accredited chiropractic college.  Student Membership will be a category of Regular Membership including all the benefits of Regular Members except the right to vote.  In addition to the Regular Membership benefits, the tuition for Student Members attending the ICS Annual Convention and Fall Symposium will be waived. (Cost of breaks, meals, and materials may be assessed.)

Affiliate Member - annual dues: $365
An affiliate member is a vendor exhibitor who offers products and services for the benefit of the chiropractic physicians and their patients. 

ICS membership dues are billed annually (January 1 - December 31) and installment payment options maybe available. Some dues are pro-rated throughout the year. Please contact the ICS office for additional information regarding pro-rated amounts. When applying for membership, the ICS membership committee meets monthly to review and approve new membership applications. New members will receive a welcome packet via email with additional membership information once their application has been accepted by the membership committee.
