Locum Tenens (Relief/Substitute Doctor)

Medicare , Medicaid , and Wellmark each have specific policies for providing relief/substitute doctors in your office (also called Locum Tenens).  ICS recommends you identify the policies for each insurance company you are contracted with to ensure you are covering all bases.  Also, when talking with a doctor about covering for you in your office you will want to discuss with them their liability insurance carrier, each insurance company they are contracted with, and whether or not they have legal counsel.
