About the Program: Julie Johnson McLean, JD, will present the provisions of the Iowa Uniform Commercial Code applicable to your patients’ rights to be paid from third parties, such as in the case of an injury arising from an accident. The purpose of this Webinar is to give to chiropractic physicians, along with other health care providers, the analysis and forms necessary to protect their rights to be paid from such sources. The program will provide basic instructions and strategies for improving your ability to get paid by obtaining a security interest in your patients’ receivables and perfecting such interest under the UCC lien law. Legal and practical limitations of such liens will also be covered.

About the Speaker: Julie Johnson McLean, JD, is a senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm in the business division. She has a general practice in but not limited to areas of banking, bankruptcy, business organizations, and mergers and acquisitions.
