New Medicare Carrier - Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) Update - WPS is contacting doctor’s offices to encourage them to bill electronically and receive electronic remittance advice. For more information about electronic billing go to http://www.wpsic.com/edi/med_macj5.shtml. This link contains information on the changes an office needs to accomplish to ensure that claims and payments are not delayed.

Coventry Consolidates Network with First Health and SouthCare PPO
Coventry has sent notification to all chiropractors that hold contracts with Coventry Healthcare of Iowa/Healthcare Preferred/SouthCare PPO notifying them of Conventry's consolidation with First Health. Advantage Chiropractic Network holds a contract with First Health.

If you are a participating provider with Coventry, the Coventry agreement will prevail over the Advantage agreement with First Health. If you are a non-participating provider with Coventry, your Advantage agreement with First Health contract will not change. This change will be effective 01/01/2008. If you have further questions, please contact Coventry at 800-470-6352 and ask for your area Provider Relations Representative.
