 ICS Platinum Membership    

  PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP                      

    A Higher Level of Distinction 

In every organization, there are those individuals who distinguish themselves from others by their involvement and contributions. The Iowa Chiropractic Society has established a level of membership distinctly designed for those individuals; Platinum Membership. 

Platinum Membership applicants must meet specific qualifications in order to obtain this level of membership. In return, Platinum Members receive a significant number of exclusive benefits.

Requirements for Platinum Membership 

As a membership category reserved exclusively for those who distinguish themselves by their involvement and contributions, an applicant for Platinum Membership must meet at least three of the following six requirements: 

     1.  Hold ICS membership for five or more years;                                            

     2.  Contribute at least $100 per year to the ICS Political Action Committee(ICSPAC)                                                                                                                    

     3.  Attended 1/2 or more of their scheduled District meetings in the past year

     4.  Hold membership in the Advantage Chiropractic Network 

     5.  Contribute at least $100 per year to the Iowa Chiropractic Research and     Education Foundation (ICERF)

     6.  Currently serve as an ICS volunteer leader at the District or state level 

                              Benefits of Platinum Membership 

In addition to the many ICS benefits available as a Regular ICS Member, Platinum Members may attend the ICS Annual Convention and the ICS Fall Symposium free of charge. (That currently represents a savings of $635.)  

Platinum Members also receive a $50 reduction in the registration fee for the ICS Okoboji Seminar and a $10 rebate for each ICS/Palmer ICN video telecast attended. 

Finally, Platinum Members are eligible for a number of the non-monetary benefits including preferential seating at the ICS Awards Banquet and the ICS Annual Meeting. Those holding Platinum Membership are also recognized at the General Session of the ICS Annual Convention, receive Platinum Membership recognition ribbons on their badges of each ICS event and are awarded a Certificate of Recognition annually. 

Upgrading Your ICS Regular Member Status 

If you are currently an ICS Regular Member, upgrading your membership to Platinum Status is an easy process. Simply complete the form on the next page and return it to ICS headquarters. The ICS Membership Committee will then review your application and contact you within 30 days. You deserve the recognition!

New ICS Member Applicants 

If you are not yet an ICS member, complete the Platinum Member Application Form (click here for Platinum Member Application) attach it to a completed the ICS Membership Application Form, (click here for ICS Membership Application) and return both forms to the ICS headquarters. Even as a new member, you may qualify for this level of membership distinction by meeting the following three requirements:  

1) becoming an Advantage Member;                                                                             2) pledging a contribution of $100 or more to the ICS Political Action Committee and 3) pledging a contribution of $100 or more to the ICERF. 

Financial Arrangements 

As with all levels of ICS membership or donations, payment may to made in full or conveniently distributed over twelve month by authorized automated credit card or checking account withdrawals.
